JOHN BULTEN
John is the founder and director of East Central Ministries. ECM's work is community-based and includes health care, food cooperatives, a thrift store, youth programs, and an intentional housing cooperative.

Steve and Lori De Vries
Steve and Lori accepted a pastoral call to Lee Street CRC in Grand Rapids, MI after 19 years at Plymouth Heights CRC. We are maintaining an ongoing non-funded mission relationship with them. Lee Street mission is to make and mature disciples in the neighborhoods in which they minister and live.

Rev. David Kromminga and Dr. Mary Buteyn
David and Mary serve with Resonate Global Mission under the Berlin City Mission in Germany. Their work is in church planting and development among the more than one million refugees in Germany.

Mario & Yolanda Matos
The Matos family lives in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, where Mario serves the Christian Reformed Church of the DR and currently works as Director of Sinergia (Leadership Foundation of Santo Domingo). Beginning September 1, 2025, Mario will step into a new role as International Partnership Director with Edudeo Ministries, an organization deeply committed to advancing Christ-centered education worldwide.

Mission French Africa Ministries
Paul and Charlotte Mpindi recently founded Mission French Africa Ministries. Through radio broadcasts, frequent trips for evangelistic campaigns and leadership training, the Mpindis work to mature and expand the work of the church in French speaking Africa.

The Nagelkirks
The Nagelkirks live and work in Grenoble, France. Their work is to evangelize the many Muslim peoples that now live in France. Many had come from Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria, but others are now coming from a variety of countries. Their goal is to make disciples and help them multiply.

THE SLIEDRECHT FAMILY
Tim and Angie work with Global Outreach International, after serving many years in Uganda. Their new role is in the recruitment, mobilization, mentoring, and training of new missionaries. Tim and Angie also serve part-time with International Friendships Inc, an organization that welcomes and supports international students in local colleges and universities. In addition, they serve with MentorMe of West Michigan and Freedom Boys Ministry in Uganda.

Crossroads Prison Ministries
Description goeCrossroads Prison Ministries’ mission is to connect prisoners with mentors in Christ-centered relationships so that lives, prisons and churches are restored through the Gospels.
In Grand Rapids, we can participate in Crossroads mission through volunteering at the office on 44th St. at Breton Rd, through “mentoring” (reviewing mailed Bible lessons and writing a note of encouragement), through donating, and through prayer.
