Ministries on Wednesday evenings
dwell
ages 4 - 1st grade
This program is for children ages 4 years old through 1st grade. We meet on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Wednesday of the month from 6:30pm - 8pm. The kids begin with a time of free play and then they dive into a Bible story. The teachers use the curriculum Dwell from Faith Alive. After the Bible story, the kids participate in a craft related to the story and then return to a time of free play. If you have any questions, please contact Rachel Thorne, our Youth Pastor.
cadets
Cadets is a program for young boys in 2nd - 8th grade. The curriculum and merit badges are through the Calvinist Cadet Corps. The theme for Cadets this year is “AMAZING” with the theme verse being Joshua 3:5 which focuses on doing great things for the Lord.
Cadets meets on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Wednesdays of the month from 6:30pm - 8pm. During that time, the Cadets study the Bible and then learn a new skill or craft. Some of the new things your Cadet may encounter this year include tent building, derby cars, card making, baking, fire building, and more!

gems
GEMS is a program for girls ages 2nd - 8th grade. The theme for GEMS this year is Act, Love, Walk and the theme verse is Micah 6:8.
GEMS meets on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Wednesdays of the month from 6:30pm - 8pm. During that time, the GEMS study the Bible and then learn a new skill or craft. Some of the things your child may encounter this year include painting, derby car building, science projects, knot tying, baking, and more!
Once a semester, the GEMS group goes on an outing. Usually, they try to get outside to learn new outdoor skills such as survival skills, tent building, and fire building.
GEMS is led by 4 female leaders from the church and Rachel, our Youth Pastor. Rachel is the head of GEMS and is around to supervise both the GEMS and Cadets programs on Wednesday nights. For more information about GEMS, contact Rachel by clicking here.
middle school youth group
Our Middle School Youth Group is for students in 5th - 8th grade. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 6:30pm - 8pm. We begin our time by studying a section of the Catechism. For 2022 - 23, we will be focusing on the sections regarding the Apostle’s Creed. After that, we spend time playing games and hanging out in our churches Youth Room.
